Ornithologists will relish the prospect of sighting such birds as the capercaillie and the Eurasian eagle owl. One of the park’s undoubted highlights however is the polar bears, including the newest arrival, the first polar bear cub born in the UK for 25 years! Other must see exhibits are the park’s Amur tigers, and the park also boasts such wonderful creatures as Japanese snow monkeys, red pandas, Scottish wildcats and wolves. Open all the year round, Highland Wildlife Park features a host of daily events that will thrill visitors of all ages. From the comfort of the cafe, sit and watch as the snow monkeys are fed by their keeper. Highland Wildlife Par is a unique sanctuary that is prized for its conservation efforts.

This place is amazing. The initial drive around is amazing and you end up in touching distance of huge bison and elk. The walk around part of the zoo is incredible and there are talks and feeding on all the time. We came so close tinplate bears it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.
